Initial consultation
We’ll begin with a discussion to understand your vision, preferences, and specific requirements. This can take place via email, phone, or video call.
During this phase, we will explore ideas, themes, and any references you may have.
Concept and design
Based on our discussion, I will develop 2-3 initial concept directions, including sketches and colour studies, for your review.
One round of revisions is included at this stage to refine the selected concept and ensure it aligns with your vision.
Creation, Finalisation, Approval, and Delivery
Creation
Once the concept is approved, I will begin preparing for the creation of your artwork. Please allow up to two weeks after the concept and design stage for sourcing materials and preparation before work begins on your piece.
You will receive updates throughout the process to ensure everything remains aligned, with room for minor adjustments where appropriate.
Final review and approval
Upon completion, I will present the final artwork for your review.
At this stage, only minor refinements can be made. Once approved, the artwork is considered final.
Delivery
Once approved, to ensure maximum protection during transit, all canvas artworks will be carefully rolled and shipped in protective tubes. This method helps prevent damage and ensures your artwork arrives in excellent condition, ready for stretching and framing.
Shipping options vary depending on the size of the artwork and destination, and may include local courier, specialist art handling, or collection. Insurance is included where shipping is arranged by Nehara Creations; for client-arranged transport or collection, insurance is the client’s responsibility.
Pricing and Size Guide
Pricing
Pricing for art commissions varies depending on the complexity and size of the artwork. Below is a general guide only in Australian Dollars.
Small works (40 × 40 cm - 70 × 70 cm): $450 - $900
Large works (80 × 80 cm - 100 × 100 cm+): $900 - $2000+
Note: A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and begin the commission, with the remaining balance due upon completion and prior to delivery.
Size guidance
Not sure what size will suit your space? I will guide you in selecting the most appropriate scale based on your wall, room, and overall aesthetic.
As a general guide:
Small: A subtle, intimate piece that adds a quiet, personal touch without overwhelming the space.
Medium: A balanced focal point within the room.
Large: A statement piece that transforms the space.
If you are an interior designer, stylist, or working with a specific wall, you are welcome to share:
A photo of your space, or
Approximate wall measurements
I will then recommend the most suitable size, format, and composition to ensure the artwork is thoughtfully integrated within your space and aligns with the overall design direction.
Terms of Service
Revisions:
One revision is included during the concept stage to refine the selected direction. Additional revisions or changes beyond this stage may incur additional charges.
Payments:
Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit card). A formal invoice will be issued for all commissions. A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and begin the commission, with the remaining balance payable upon completion prior to delivery.
Cancellation and refunds:
If you wish to cancel your commission, a full refund of the deposit will be provided only if work has not yet commenced. Once concept development or production has begun, the deposit becomes non-refundable, and cancelations are not accepted.
Copyright and usage:
I retain the copyright and moral rights of the artwork, upon final payment, ownership of the physical artwork is transferred to you for personal use. Commercial use, reproduction or licencing requires a separate agreement.
Confidentiality:
All discussions and work will remain confidential upon request. Nehara Creations may share the completed artwork for portfolio or promotional purposes. unless otherwise agreed in writing.
